William Barnes is planning to trim his list relatively soon. The Scout 150 offensive tackle told FightinGators.com that Florida, Ohio State, Florida State and North Carolina will make his list, however, he also mentioned that Michigan has now been communicating with him more in recent weeks. He is trying to take some visits this summer and he mentioned possibly taking a visit to Oregon. At this time Brad Davis has done well to continue to establish a connection with Barnes and Florida is in a good position. It also helps that Barnes talks to current Gators lineman Martez Ivey plenty.
Joe Milton is still considering a decision in the near future, however, on Thursday he admitted he might hold off a little longer. If he were to commit sooner, Michigan looks like the destination, however, things could turn the longer his recruitment goes. According to the Olympia High signal caller, the Gators have reached out more in recent days.
The Gators went on an offer spree this past week. Here are the list of new offers and where they stand:
Cameron Wire's stock risen so much that he now holds 31 offers including from Florida, Louisville, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Baylor, Mississippi State, Oregon, and Tennessee.
The Gators are entering a crowded field for wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Baylor and LSU were among the schools that have already extended a scholarship offer to the wide receiver.
Tyler Bentley receiver an offer from the Gators this week and Florida do have a shot. The three-star defensive tackle says he and his dad are fans of the program and are trying to set out time for visits.
Shaquon Anderson-Butts is a top wide receiver from Pennsylvania that calls Florida a dream offer. It looked like Penn State was the team to beat for a while, but with his best friend, five-star Micah Parsons decommitting from the Nittany Lions, can another school take the reigns?
Azeez Ojulari holds offer from Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Maryland, NC State and Tennessee among others. The defensive end hopes to visit UF.
Nolan Smith is a four-star defensive end from IMG Academy currently committed to Georgia. The Bulldogs will be a hard one to beat at the moment, especially for this Georgia native, but there is plenty of time.
Jaden Davis picked up recent offers from Florida and Iowa State. He will be a four-star in the new Scout rankings. Before his offers from the Gators, the cornerback named Kentucky and Syracuse as the two schools standing out-obviously things were early.
Things are a bit early for conjecture for Chantz Williams. The defensive end has picked up offers from Florida, Miami, Louisville and Florida State recently this spring.
Aydin Henningham is another 2020 prospect to watch. The wide receiver's stock slowly is rising and has picked up SEC offers from Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky.
Derohn King is a signal caller from South Florida that has picked up early offers from Florida, Miami, FIU and Bowling Green.
