The spring evaluation continues to be a busy time for the Florida Gators staff, Tuesday was no exception. The coaches were busy in the South and focused their attentions in Georgia.
One of the top recruits seen by Florida was Caleb Tannor. The four-star defensive end is high on the board, but UF understands he has some work to do. The Bulldogs are often the favorite when an in-state kid is concerned, however, don't sleep on Auburn here as well. The Gators are his most recent offer so a visit would be huge.
Florida was also busy scouting top talent to offer in the Peach State. Jim McElwain and his team offered three from powerhouse, Grayson High School including Florida State pledge, Kenyatta Watson. Watson is a top 2019 safety, who holds offers from FSU, LSU, Michigan, Tennessee and Nebraska among others. In addition to Watson, Florida also offered his teammates, 2019 offensive tackle Trente Jones and running back Ronald Thompkins.
Brad Davis continues to try to find his guys this spring. The Gators extended an offer to 2019 four-star offensive tackle Christopher Hinton Jr. from Greater Christian School and to his younger brother, 2020 defensive tackle, Myles Hinton.
The Florida staff also extended a few more offers in other areas. The Gators were in Alabama to check in on targets like Asa Martin, and also extended offers to a few underclassmen, including 2019 safety, outside linebacker, Keshun Brown.
The Carver Senior high school standout holds from Alabama, Toledo and Troy as well. Florida also extended an offer to Kris Draine, an athlete out of Spanish Fort High School, who also plays basketball.
