Jarren Williams is off the board once again or is he? The Central Gwinnett signal caller took to twitter on Monday morning to announce his decision to recommit to Kentucky.
The quarterback decommitted from the Wildcats this spring when schools like Alabama and Florida came calling, however, he made the decision to commit to Kentucky once again saying, "in the end, the relationships and trust that I have built with the coaching staff, players and the support from the fanbase is all too important."
Although this decision is not what Florida hoped for, the Gators will not stop pursuing the Georgia native. On the contrary, according to a source, the staff has already reached out and will continue to pursue the signal caller. However, that does not mean Florida is not pursuing any other quarterback.
Fields continues to be the top choice for Jim McElwain and his staff. The Penn State pledge is planning to early enroll and the feeling remains that if he were to flip, Florida would be the one to do it. Summer will be big when it comes to this signal caller.
In the same vein, Jones is a quarterback the staff has shown plenty of interest in and the interest is mutual. The Ohio State commit has mentioned the Gators several times despite his pledge to the Buckeyes. The Georgia native has visited Gainesville a number of times in the past and has stated that the three schools with a chance to flip him away from Urban Meyer are: Florida, FSU and Alabama.
Other names to watch include: Sitkowski, who although Florida cooled off of him this spring could be a quarterback they circle back to, and Bartram Trail quarterback Riley Smith.
