LB To Visit The Gators

Linebacker Kai Pahram from Virginia says he will visit Florida.

"Virginia is my leader," said linebacker Kai Parham. "I also like Florida State, Florida, Stanford, Virginia Tech and Tennessee. That's my top six. I camped at Virginia this summer and I like that coaching staff. Plus, I may want to stay in-state. I have already set up a visit to Florida State (10-13) and I know that I will also visit Virginia and Florida for sure. I am looking at academics and coaching staffs. Another important factor is the recruiting class. Who are they also bringing in? I want to be a part of a great class."

Parham, 6-3 and 235 pounds, runs in the 4.5 range. He plays for Virginia Beach (Va.) Princess Anne High School. So far this season, he has 60 tackles, 1 sack and 4 caused fumbles.

Through the recruiting process, he and linebacker Ahmad Brooks, from Woodbridge (Va.) Hylton are quickly becoming friends. "We are talking a lot. We would like to go to the same school. If it works out it works out. If not, that is OK too. We both have to make the decision that is best for us."

Parham bench presses 405 pounds and squats 515. He carries a 3.3 grade point average and has scored a 1080 SAT.
