Devin Aromashodu Update

Devin Aromashodu is now looking at the Gators. But is it too late?

Devin Aromashodu is one of the top receivers from the Sunshine State in a year when this is a deep position in the state of Florida. Aromashodu, from Miami (Fla.) Springs, is currently leaning to the Miami Hurricanes.

"Miami has a great team and lots of receivers in the NFL," said Aromashodu. "Plus it is close to home. I would have committed to them all ready but Florida has now started to recruit me. They were always my favorite team growing up. Reidel Anthony, Ike Hillard, Jacquez Green, and Chris Doering were the guys I watched and loved. Florida really didn't start recruiting me until this fall and they have now offered. They are trying to get back in. I also like Notre Dame, Michigan State, Northwesterm and Ohio State."

Aromashodu, 6-2 and 185 pounds, has scheduled official visits to Michigan State (11-2) and Ohio State (11-30). So far this season, he has 15 receptions for 400 yards and 4 touchdowns. Aromashodu has also rushed for over 300 yards and 3 scores. According to Aromashodu, he has 20-25 scholarship offers.

"I have good speed and jumping ability (42-inch vertical jump). I feel like I am a faster Keyshawn Johnson. I will base my decision on the quarterback situation, the wide receiver coach and how good the team is. I will try and make a decision before the New Year in December."

Aromashodu camped this summer at Auburn, FSU and Miami.
