"We lost a tough one against Dallas Carter 25-19, including losing both quarterbacks (Wes Bankston and Pierre Velasquez in the game," Blalock said. "Both are back now and we're looking forward to playing the Wildcats Friday night."
Justin was asked about the Texas-OU experience last Saturday.
"It was a great atmosphere," he said. "An extremely exciting game and all the fans were very hospitable. Some even recognized me. I can't believe that."
Blalock, who carries a 3.6 GPA, scored 31 on the ACT, 1280 on the SAT and has recorded 61 "pancake" blocks through his first five games, was asked about school choices.
"Oklahoma, Texas, Michigan and Florida are my ‘first tier' schools," Justin said. "Northwestern and Arkansas are the other two I'm also considering for official visits."
Blalock was asked if any talented players had caught his eye so far this season.
"The defensive tackle from Duncanville, Xavier Lawson-Kennedy (6-3, 280-pound junior)," he quickly said. "He's the best, by far, that I've played against this year."
