Do the Gators Lead for Turner?

Do the Floirda Gators lead for star running back Nicolas Turner?

The top running back prospect from the state of Georgia is Nicolas Turner. Turner, from Atlanta (Ga.) Booker T. Washington High School, is 6-0 and 180 pounds and cat-quick with great speed (10.43 100 meters). But Turner has been slowed down with a sprained foot this season. He has played in only two games and was only effective in one of those contests where he rushed for 176 yards and 3 scores.

"I hurt my foot early in the season and re-injured it later," said Turner. "I hope to be back for our Homecoming game against Atlanta (Ga.) Mays. I would say it is about 90%."

Turner is a terrific athlete. He could play running back, receiver or cornerback at the next level. Turner is also a deadly kick returner.

"I know I will visit Florida for sure. I can't really say they are my leader because I have never been there before. I just love their offense and they throw to the backs. I really believe I have all of the tools to play there and do some great stuff. Florida is up there for sure. I am also considering Auburn, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Michigan, Miami, South Carolina, North Carolina, NC State and some others. I think I may visit Georgia as well. I will try and set some visits up in the next few weeks."
