is one of the top defensive back prospects from the state of Florida
. Joiner, from Haines City, Florida, has decided he wants to stay home and has committed to the University of Florida, according to his head coach, Pat Herrington.
"Tony told me today that he committed to Florida," Coach Herrington. "I think he did it today. He has told the coaches there and he is now a Gator."
Joiner, 6-0 and 185 pounds, can play either safety position at the next level. He committed to Florida over LSU and NC State.
