Will Cornelius Visit the Gators?

Jemalle Cornelius is close to setting up his visits. Will he trip to Florida?

One of the top athletes from the state of Florida is Jemalle Cornelius. Cornelius, from Ft. Meade (Fla) High School, is wide open and he will wait a few weeks before he narrows things down and sets some visits.

"I hope to set up some trips around the first of November," said Cornelius. "Right now, I would say that I am open. I like Florida, Notre Dame, Auburn, Arkansas, Virginia, Clemson and Georgia. Arkansas, Auburn and Notre Dame are showing me the most attention right now."

One of the teams Cornelius likes at this time is Florida. "Coach (Dwayne) Dixon is recruiting me and I really enjoy talking with him. We get along great. I like the way the Gators throw the football all over the place and to a ton of different receivers. Coach Spurrier knows how to spread the wealth."

Cornelius, 6-0 and 170 pounds, is a receiver prospect even though he is playing quarterback this season for Ft. Meade. So far this season, he has thrown for 830 yards and 10 TD passes. He has also rushed for 255 yards and 4 touchdowns. Defensively, he has 3 interceptions playing free safety. Cornelius also has returned 2 punts for touchdowns.
