Fason Having Record Breaking Season

Running back Ciatrick Fason is having a record breaking year. Fason committed to the Florida Gators back on Signing Day.

Florida Gator commitment Ciatrick Fason is having a record breaking senior season. So far in eight games, Fason has rushed for 1,786 yards and 17 touchdowns. He is now fifth all-time career rushing for the state of Florida. He also broke the Jacksonville record set by Willie McClendon.

"Everything is coming together this year," said Fason. "I am running with a lot more power and breaking more tackles."

Fason, 6-2 and 206 pounds, rushed for 365 yards in one game this season. He committed to Florida back on Signing Day of this year. Fason, from Jacksonville (Fla.) Fletcher, says he will not visit anyone and is solid with his Gator commitment. He has been to one Florida game (vs. Miss. State) this season. He plans on attending the Florida State and Tennessee games later on this season. Last season as a junior, Fason rushed for 1,720 yards and 26 scores. Emmitt Smith is the all-time leading rushing in the state of Florida.
