Georgia speedster Michael Grant and teammate Josh Johnson took in their official visit to Florida this weekend. Grant is a cornerback prospect that also is a great track guy. He's the 200-meter champ in the state of Georgia. This weekend, he got to take in a track meet at UF.
"It was a very good visit," Grant said. "I liked it. I enjoyed the track meet and saw some friends of mine run.
"The coaches at Florida are real friendly and I like the players. Skyler (Thornton) was my host and those guys seem cool. I also hung out with Kenny (O'Neal) and Xavier (Carter). I think I fit in well down there and I think I can play early at Florida."
Grant has already visited Miami, Arkansas and Georgia. He and Johnson will visit Tennessee this weekend.
"Right now Georgia and Florida are my co-leaders. I am also interested in Miami and Tennessee. It's down to four schools."
