"It was fun," Ayers said. "I really like the environment. Florida is such a pretty place. They also need linebackers. You can see that. So I know there is a great opportunity for me there. If I pick Florida maybe I can be like Channing Crowder and make a big impact. I also like the coaches. They have class and they want to win."
"I am scheduled to visit Florida State this weekend but I don't know if I will make it because I may decide this week. Right now, South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee are my leaders. This is a lot harder than I thought."
Lou Holtz will have an in-home visit with Ayers on Monday and Florida defensive coordinator Charlie Strong will have an in-home visit with him on Tuesday.
Ayers finished the season with 112 tackles and five interceptions.
