MS DL Likes Florida

Parys Haralson says he is "intrigued by the Florida Gators."

One of the top defensive prospects from the state of Mississippi is Parys Haralson. He plays linebacker for Madison Central High School. As a sophomore and junior, Haralson played defensive end.

"Some schools like me at end and others like me as a linebacker," said Haralson. "Right now, I have about 25 scholarship offers. Florida is my leader by a little. Something intrigues me about the Gators. They like me as a defensive lineman and they are graduating some guys. The opportunity to play early there is pretty good. I also like Ole Miss, Tennessee, Georgia and Auburn. I am looking at academics and where I best fit in."

Haralson, 6-2 and 230 pounds, camped at Mississippi State. In the end, the Rebels could prove tough to beat for this versatile defensive prospect. In the last two seasons, Ole Miss has signed three blue-chippers from Madison Central - Michael Espy, Chris Spencer, and Doug Buckles.
