Ray Herring is a physical defensive back that could see time at any one of a number of positions at 5-11 and 190 pounds. He has good speed at 4.65, and he has excellent lateral movement and quickness. Two schools have already stepped up with offers, but Herring has his eye on some other schools early in the recruiting process.
"Boston College and Oklahoma State have offered me a scholarship,"

Herring is a three sport athlete that also competes as a point guard on his
basketball team, and he runs three events in track including the 100 and 4x100
relay. His Holy Trinity team went 10-1 last year, and they will get an early
jump on next season when spring practice begins on May 1st.
