Eastern Michigan game gets earlier start
Safety won out over heat and humidity. Florida officials moved kickoff for Saturday's season opener against Eastern Michigan at Florida Field to 1 p.m., making the change from 6 p.m. so fans would not be traveling at night on roads around Gainesville that still have downed trees, power poles and power lines from Hurricane Frances.
