Gators Lead for Georgia Defender

B.J. Wright of Lowndes High School in Valdosta is an excellent linebacker prospect that could also find himself at defensive end on the college level. Wright has received four scholarship offers, and he names a favorite.

"I have offers from Florida, Alabama, Auburn, and UCF. I am considering Florida and Florida State. Florida is my overall favorite," said B.J. Wright.

Wright has a few reasons why the Gators are in the lead.

When asked about the Gators, Wright replied, "They are close to home and I just really like the Gators."

Two other schools are also under consideration.

"I am looking at Florida State. They have a really good football program reputation. I like Georgia as well. They are the same as Florida State," said Wright.

"I don't really know when I will make my decision. I will be looking at academics and playing time," Wright added.

Several coaches have Wright's telephone number and calling.

"There are so many that I cannot even name. Coach Zook at Florida called me and talked to me."

Lowndes is off to a great start being undefeated heading into this week's game.

"The season has been going great. We are 3-0. We play Ware County this week at Home."
