So which is it? Was Ty Willingham fired at Notre Dame because: A. He was a black Southern Baptist and was never accepted by white Irish Catholic alumni and boosters. B. Notre Dame finally realized that if its football program is going to be like the elite programs in the country, it has to be as impatient as the elite programs in the country.
