"Oklahoma State is an up-and-coming program. They were just a couple touchdowns away from going to the national championship this past season. And they've also got some great talent coming back.
"I feel that I could go in there at running back and make a change for that program. They work hard as a team, and they're always right there on the other teams they play to get the win.
"Texas is Texas, you know. I'd have a great opportunity to go in there and be the man at running back. They were also a couple touchdowns away from a national championship.
"The new coaching situation at LSU doesn't really affect me. I just want to see who they're going to bring in after coach (Nick) Saban. They're already a great program, with some players there that have established some great bonds with each other. It just comes down to who they're going to bring in."
Jackson says he will officially visit Florida (1/7 or 1/28) and Texas sometime in January.
