According to Roche, the meeting with Addazio "went good. He came over Sunday, the first day they were out visiting and talked to my parents and I."
What was the topic of conversation? "Nothing too specific, just they were very interested for me to take a visit," he answered. "I didn't set up a visit yet, because it is the last one I have left. It is only between a couple of schools. However, I am interested and happy he came up."
Roche was quite impressed with Addzaio, repeating a common theme mentioned by other recuits who have been visited by the new members of the Floida staff of Coach Urban Meyer. "He (Addazio) was a very high energy guy," Roche said.
If he decides to make the Florida trip, he's already got a date in mind.
"It would be the 21st," he said. "There are a couple of other schools I may visit. I may take one official and one unofficial if I can't decide."
Roche is good friends with Brian Cushing, the New Jersey linebacker high atop the Gators wish list at linebacker. Cushing is supposed to visit on the January 28th weekend. The two are considering taking at least one official visit trip together.
"We may take the Notre Dame one together," he said.
What about the weekend of the 28th?
"Maybe if I can get to Florida with him," Roche said, "then maybe I can flip-flop with Notre Dame."
A week ago, Gator fans didn't know the name of Brian Roche. Today, the former Rutgers commitment is a possibility to visit and make a decision favoring the Gators. Unexpected drop-ins from coaches may help to sway the New Jersey lineman. A visit to Gainesville may certainly do the trick.
