RECRUITING: Coach Strong visits Quinton Brown

Up and coming Orlando Edgewater offensive tackle Quinton Brown (6-6, 270, 3 stars) got a visit Tuesday night from University of Florida co-defensive coordinator, Charley Strong.

"We had a good visit," Brown explained. "Coach Strong let me know that Florida is really interested in me and they want me to be a Gator. It doesn't matter to me where I play as long as I can help the team."

Brown said he's looking forward to his trip to Gainesville this weekend (January 21). He will be joined by two Edgewater teammates, tackle Matt Hardrick and cornerback Tyller Roberts.

Although Quinton Brown would not name a leader for his services he said, "Florida, Florida State and NC State are my top three. They are all equal right now. I won't make my final decision until after I make all my visits."

He also has a final visit scheduled with South Carolina on January 28.

The athletic offensive lineman plans to major in business and should have no problem qualifying academically. Although not one of the more heralded prospects on the board everyone agrees that Brown has a boatload of "up-side."
