The University of Florida Womens Swimming & Diving

The University of Florida women's swimming and diving team will travel to Auburn, Ala., to battle the Auburn Tigers in the first of two Southeastern Conference meets the Gators will be competing in this weekend. The Auburn meet is scheduled to begin Friday at 6 p.m. Auburn is ranked second by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America, while Florida occupies the third ranking in that poll.

After the SEC clash with the Tigers, the Gators will stay in Alabama, but move to Tuscaloosa, to compete against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The match up between the two is slated to begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Alabama enters the meet coming off a loss from the No. 1 ranked Georgia Lady Bulldogs, 131-94.

Florida will enter the state ranked third by CSCAA and will swim again after demolishing the Miami Hurricanes in a dual meet on Jan. 8. The Lady Gators have been off for a week and will return to the pool ready to compete after a solid week of training.
