Reed was awarded the SEC Gymnast of the Week after claiming her second all-around title of the last three meets by upping her UF season-best total to 39.425 on Feb. 25 versus Kentucky. She also used a collegiate-best vault mark of 9.925 to take her first title in that event this season. Reed was runner-up in floor with a collegiate-best 9.90 - marking the second time she raised her top score since premiering a new floor routine Feb. 11. In the month of February, Reed has recorded 11 top-three finishes - including six event wins. She has turned in all of her collegiate bests in February.
Next up, Reed and the rest of the No. 6 Gator gymnastics team take a trip west to face perennial gymnastics powers. The weekend begins Friday, March 4 when No. 3 Utah plays host to a quadrangular meet featuring Stanford and California. Then Florida travels to Los Angeles to meet two-time defending NCAA champion and current No. 4 UCLA for a Sunday, March 6 dual meet.
