Florida received two more in-state basketball commitments Monday, one for its 2006 class and a second for the Class of 2007.

Admiral Farragut's 6-foot-10 center, Marreese Speights, has verbally committed to the University of Florida, and said he will sign in November.

University of Florida Softball sophomore Stacey and Shelley Stevens have been named to the 2005 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District teams. Stacey earned first team honors and will now move on to the national ballot. Shelley earned second team honors.
