"I have about 22 offers right now," said Rickerson. "I went to the Florida Camp on June 12th. I pretty much talked with all of the coaches while I was there. They told me how much they really needed me and the possibility of coming in and contributing early if I decided to go there."
Rickerson will be camping with another SEC team next month.
"I'm going to Auburn's camp in July. That will give me the chance to talk to the coaches face to face and see what they have planned for me. I want to see their facilities and talk to their academic advisors about their computer engineering program."
Rickerson breaks up pass on Hill at The Swamp
Rickerson has been busy keeping tabs on his favorite schools, but it looks like he has it narrowed down to two for the moment.
"I have contacted Coach Mattison at Florida, Coach Smart at Georgia, and Coach Borges at Auburn over the summer. I'll call them when I need them to answer a question about their plans for me. We also talk about what I've been doing over the summer. Right now I'd say I have a Top 2. I like Florida. I really like talking with Coach Mattison. I also like Auburn; they're recruiting me the hardest."
With two offers in hand from his favorites and two camp visits about to be completed, could Rickerson make a decision next month?
