Profle 2003 - Earl Everett (LBSS)
One of the most versatile high school athletes in the state of Florida is Earl Everett from South Sumpter High School.  Everett plays wide receiver, running back, quarterback, tight end, outside linebacker and strong safety.  In college, he will probably play outside linebacker because of his size but he prefers to play strong safety.

"I want to play safety but I realize that I may outgrow the position," said Everett.  "I am a big hitter and I love playing sideline-to-sideline.  I also can cover."  Having coverage skills will certainly help Everett in the transition to college OLB.

Right now, he favors the Hurricanes over Florida, FSU and South Florida.  "I just love the way Miami plays defense.  They are aggressive and fast."
