The following information was revealed during our interview with Willie Oliver:

Which position are you being looked at for the college level? "Some like me at defensive end and a couple like me at linebacker. But mostly, they like me at DE."

What are your strengths on the field? "I guess I am a pass rusher. I am really quick off of the ball and getting to the QB."

How is your season going this year? "We started off a little slack. We did not finish our game against Madison because of bad weather, and we lost the second game to South Sumnter. We beat Wakulla Friday."

What are your stats for the year? "So far, I have 5 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery, but I played in my first game Friday. I have a broken wrist."

You are playing with a broken wrist? "I have to get surgery on it at the end of the season. I broke it in the Spring, and I have been playing with a soft cast."

Which colleges are currently recruiting you the hardest? "I would say Tennessee, Florida, Ohio State, Iowa, Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida State, and Clemson."

Who is recruiting you the hardest out of this group? "Right now, I would probably say Ole Miss, right now."

Any offers? "Ole Miss and Temple have (offered me)."

Which colleges are currently contacting you by phone? "I got a call from Ole Miss last week. Alabama called too."

When did you start hearing from Ole Miss? "They called me in the Spring, and they sent one of their coaches out here to visit."

Which colleges are now at the top of your list? "Right now, I like Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and FSU."

What stands out about Florida? "I like how their defense plays. They are real aggressive. I like the new offense they run. It is more spread out. But probably what stands out the most about Florida is their coaches."

What do you like about Tennessee? "I really have not had a chance to watch them play this year, but in the past, they played with a lot of aggressiveness on defense. They fly to the ball and just get after it. That is all."

And FSU? "I met some of their coaches. I like their coaches and their players. And their tradition catches your eye. They play good defense too. I enjoy watching them play."

What are Ole Miss' positives? "I like the fact that they are recruiting me as a linebacker. That is the position I really want to play. Right now, I am playing defense end because our team needs me the most there right now. But I want to play linebacker in college, and Ole Miss is the only school who really thinks of me as a true linebacker."

Have you caught any college football games this fall? "I went to the Miami/FSU, Florida/La Tech, and Florida/TN games."

Had a chance to set up any official visits? "Not yet. I thought about it the last time I talked to the Alabama coach. We talked about a date, but I have not called him back with my answer. I am going to tell him yes though."

Which date is this? "It is like the first weekend in December."

What will you be looking for while you are on your visits? "I will look at their coaches and how well they work with the players. I will look at their graduation percentage. But most of all, I will look at their football team. Just how together they are. You know, do they bond or are there in-house problems?"
