Gator Commitment is an Army All-American

Carl Johnson is a 5 Star Offensive Line prospect and the #7 offensive lineman in the Country. He is now a member of the U.S. Army All-American team.

DURHAM, N.C. (October 31, 2005) --- Recognized as one of the top football players in the nation, Carl Johnson of Durham, N.C., has been named a 2006 U.S. Army All-American. Johnson will join a stand-out list of athletes playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The classic East vs. West match-up will be played and televised live on NBC January 7th at 1:00 p.m. (EST) and will feature the top 78 prep football student-athletes in the country.

Johnson was a standout at the Combine held in Durham, N.C. in April, and his hard work has paid off with a selection to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Johnson ended his recruitment early with a commitment to the Florida Gators.
