Profile 2003 - Adarius Bowman (CB)

In a camp loaded with WR's, it was hard for any one of them to stand out, but being 6'3 and 205 pounds sure helps. Adarius Bowman fits those measurements, and he runs like a deer. He has a personal best of 4.49, and he showed that he could do that consistently by running a 4.5 in front of everyone at the Nike Camp in Athens on Sunday.

"I had a pretty good camp," said Bowman. "I felt like I ran good routes and caught the ball well. I got to see a lot of good players there. I'm going back to Georgia for summer camp, and I'm going to try and go to Tennessee and Florida as well. My favorite teams right now are North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Ole Miss."

Despite a 4-6 record, Bowman enjoyed a good season last year for The Notre Dame School in Chattanooga, TN. The humble Bowman first pointed out that his quarterback set a school record for yardage at 2,300. After he mentioned in passing that his 20 touchdowns and 1,300 yards were also school records.

Bowman is generally considered one of the top receivers in the south this year in a class absolutely loaded at that position. After seeing him in person on Sunday, it's easy to see why he has earned that reputation.
