RECRUITING: Thomas names new leader

Florida WR/S prospect Bryan Thomas has narrowed his list down to 5 schools and the Sunshine State product is now ready to name a leader again for his signature. Who is it?

"I'm still looking at Ohio State, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina and Clemson. That's my top 5. Florida is pretty much ahead of the pack because I'm familiar with the staff and the area," Bryan Thomas said.

Bryan talks about some other things he likes about the Gators.

"I like a lot about it. It's close to home. The coaching staff and the team are like family. It's more than just playing football and going about your business. They have a son/father relationship and I respect that."

Thomas has gone ahead and set two more official visits.

"I went to Tennessee on Oct 7. I've set visits for South Carolina on January 14th, Florida on January 21st and I'm trying to set dates for Ohio State and Clemson as well."

Expect a decision from Thomas sometime shortly after the New Year.

"I'm thinking about waiting it out to the very end but after my last visit I should be ready to commit."

His season is now complete but it was a very successful one for the Zephyrhills standout.

"I had 5 interceptions and ran 3 back for touchdowns. I had 800yds of total offense and I had like 6 or 7 offensive touchdowns. I had 83 tackles and 4 sacks as well. We ended the season at 7-3 but we lost in the first round of the playoffs."
