Checkmate Gators make easy work of Golden Knights
There are few things that teammates haven't seen Florida sophomore forward Corey Brewer do on the basketball court.

Gators' Donovan earns 200th win
Coach Billy Donovan became the fastest in UF history to reach 200 victories with the Gators on Saturday. The Gators (7-0) defeated Central Florida 80-47 in front of 9,125 at the O'Connell Center. Donovan's first victory with the Gators also came against UCF in 1996.

Donovan Pleased With 200th Win
Coach Billy Donovan's 200th win at the University of Florida looked a lot like his 50th. That's not to say Donovan has regressed. It's the ultimate compliment to compare Saturday's 80-47 win against Central Florida at the O'Connell Center to the season opener for the 1999-2000 team Donovan coached to the NCAA final.

Unbeaten Gators rip Knights
Somebody was going to leave the Stephen C. O'Connell Center with 200 victories. Unfortunately for UCF Coach Kirk Speraw, that somebody was Billy Donovan.

O'Dome isn't likely to see much big-name hoops action

Meyer cashes in on recruits after big win
During the post-game celebration in the Florida locker room last Saturday night, the festivities were further livened when three of the state's top recruits informed Urban Meyer they were going to be Gators.

Georgia hands LSU sweet defeat, but which bowl will invite Florida to play?
Now it gets interesting. Had LSU beaten Georgia Saturday night, Florida was a lock for the Outback Bowl in Tampa. That is still a good possibility after the Bulldogs upset the Tigers in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game, but the bowl committee meetings today will be filled with debate.

Gators Appear To Be Tampa-Bound
The University of Florida will have to wait until this afternoon to officially learn its bowl destination, but all signs seem to point south on Interstate 75 to Tampa.
