He expected a cheer Tuesday, a brief moment of recognition for his role in a dream season 18 years ago. Instead, University of Florida basketball coach Billy Donovan got a standing ovation, something to hang on his wall and another fond memory of the building where he starred as a young man. "There's no question I got choked up," said Donovan, who led Providence to the 1987 Final Four and who was honored at midcourt Tuesday and presented with a framed photo collage of his Friars highlights by Providence's president, Father Brian Shanley.
