"The visit went really good," said Andre Smith. "It was a great experience for me. "We went inside the academic center and checked out the rest of the campus."
"The visit didn't hinder Alabama's chances nor did it help them. Everything is still the same. All the schools I'm considering are still equal," Smith added.
Smith's host for the weekend was cousin and former teammate Dominic Lee.
"It was great to hang out with Dominic this weekend. I am very used to hanging out with him. I also hung out with D.J. [Hall], [Antoine] Caldwell, [Ken] Darby and Keith [Brown]. It was a lot of fun," Smith said.
It's a no-brainer the five-star lineman is the top priority for several schools. Head coach Mike Shula informed Smith how much he is needed in Tuscaloosa.
"I met with Coach Shula for a while on Sunday," Smith said. "He was telling me about all the opportunities I would have if I came to Alabama. It was a great visit. I like the coaches a lot. They are real good people. They always want the best from you, and they will help you prepare for the next level."
When asked what stood out the most of the Crimson Tide visit Smith replied, "I don't really know. I haven't really sat down and thought about it. I know I really like the atmosphere on game days. It's a great atmosphere."
Smith will take a visit to LSU (1-20) and decide between three schools for his final visit.
"I am still undecided as to where I will take my last visit," Smith said. "I am going to LSU next weekend. I will decide on my last visit between Florida, Auburn and Ole Miss. I won't take a visit to Florida State, but they are still in it."
"I have been talking to the Ole Miss coaches, and they are a great coaching staff. I am not sure if I will visit them though," Smith added.
Andre Smith will announce his decision at Huffman High School (Ala.) on national signing day.
