RECRUITING: Moreno back from Gator weekend

Knowshon Moreno is one of the top running backs in the country to still remain uncommitted at this point in the recruiting process but it's getting close to decision time for the New Jersey star. He visited the Florida Gators over the weekend and came away liking what he saw.

Moreno is a man of few words but he briefly describes the visit.

"It went pretty good. It was fun. I'd probably give it a 9. It was good," Knowshon Moreno said.

Knowshon says he felt comfortable in the surroundings of the Florida campus.

"It was comfortable. It felt nice and it was fun."

Gainesville native Eric Rutledge served as his host for the weekend.

"My host was Eric Rutledge. We hung out and just had a little fun. He's a good guy."

Florida has recently upgraded some of their football facilities and Moreno liked what he saw.

"They have great facilities just like some other schools so it was fun to see that."

Before leaving town, Moreno was able to sit down with coach Urban Meyer.

"Coach Meyer told me he was glad I came and looked forward to seeing me again. He didn't really say much else."

Three teams still have a shot to sign him at this juncture.

"It's down to Georgia, Virginia Tech and Florida. I like them all the same."

He will have a in-home visit with the Dawgs next Thursday and has no others scheduled at this point. Stay tuned to Scout.com for the latest on Knowshon Moreno…
