Update 2003 - Jarrod Britt (OL)

May has been a good month to offensive lineman Jarrod Britt. After starting the month with no offers and not having taken the SAT, Britt now has a drawer full of offers and a qualifying test score on his aptitude test. "I just got my score back on Friday," said Britt. "I now have a qualifying test score. I'm going to take the SAT again though, and I'm going to take the ACT too, just to try and get better."

The news has been equally good on the football field for the athletic lineman. "Arkansas just offered me yesterday (5-28)." That adds another top school to the offer list for the BorderWars 101 Team member. His running list includes schools such as Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, and Clemson. One school that is conspicuously absent is one Britt's early favorites of Georgia. "I called Coach [Mike] Bobo the other day just to talk with him. He's a good guy. As far as I know though, I still don't have an offer from Georgia." Was the talk with Coach Bobo enough to pull Georgia back even with a Florida team that had taken the lead. "Man, I don't know," said Britt with a laugh. "It's all pretty confusing. About the only thing I do know for sure is that I'm going to take all of my visits this fall."
