Vol-atile court case
After being involved in an incident that spurned new Southeastern Conference crowd-control measures, Florida found itself at the wrong end of another court-storming celebration Saturday.

Gators drop to No. 4, No. 5 in polls
After a loss on Saturday to SEC rival Tennessee, the Florida basketball team slips to No. 4 in the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Poll and No. 5 in the Associated Press basketball poll.

Florida AD mad about UT crowd
Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley was disappointed after the Gators basketball team suffered its first loss of the season at Tennessee on Saturday night, but he was even more upset by what happened after the game at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Brewer to likely miss S.C. game
Unless Corey Brewer's sprained right ankle improves dramatically in the next two days, Florida's sophomore forward likely won't play against South Carolina on Wednesday night.

Gators irked by Vols fans
The University of Florida men's basketball team doesn't know how long it will be without injured forward Corey Brewer, and the Gators don't know how they will respond after losing their first game of the season, but they do know one thing:

UF unhappy with UT security
Two days after the Florida Gators' school-record winning streak ended, Corey Brewer — the team's best all-around player — was limping and Jeremy Foley — the school's athletic director — was steaming.

Gators nod stirs it up
The first irate e-mail tumbled into the inbox at about 3:30 p.m. Five minutes later, another message appeared - then another and another and another. By 10:30 on the night of Jan. 16, my e-mail was stuffed with messages from complete strangers, and they weren't special offers for male enhancement.

Florida Lady Gator Basketball

Gators crack Top 25
Carolyn Peck has maintained all season her Florida women's basketball team is not focused on rankings, but rather making the NCAA Tournament.
