Hollywood Bob's Post NSD Private Screening #3

In continuing with our quest to give you the real inside scoop on how the recruiting process went down for the entire class, Hollywood Bob takes us behind the scenes as to just what happened with the offensive line and all the main characters in recruiting the line for 2006. The class was a really good one but the Gators would have liked to sign at least one more.

The day Carl Johnson committed to Florida probably sent shivers down the spine of the Noles everywhere as he was a foregone conclusion in the minds of their fans and coaches. They envisioned a class with Carl Johnson, Percy Harvin and Andre Smith all lining up to sign on the FSU dotted line. What they didn't know was that they were THIRD on his list. Tennessee was Florida's biggest competition for The Pancake Man. Doc Holliday played a critical role here and the friendship he had built with Carl and his dad, Jeff Parker, was instrumental in landing the US Army All-American to Gainesville.
