"Georgia offered me on Monday. I was very excited. It kind of caught me by surprise. I had talked to them a little bit but then I talked to Coach Bobo and he said he was going to offer me a full scholarship. I'm a Georgia fan so it was definitely good news. I grew up watching them play. You watch them on TV and think about going there but when you have the chance to actually do it, it's a great feeling," Logan Gray said.
As mentioned above, Logan will visit the SEC Champions on Saturday afternoon.
"I will be down in Georgia for the G-Day game this weekend. It will be nice to see all the quarterbacks. I heard Blake (Barnes) wasn't going to play but I'm excited to see the other three guys, the atmosphere and the team during a game situation. I also want to meet the coaches again. They seem like really good people and I'm anxious to meet them in person."
Gray plans a pair of other visits in the coming months as well.
"On April 22nd I've planned to go to Kansas State for their spring game. I also want to get out to some other spring games. It just seems like they're all on the same day. May 20th I'm going to see Florida. It was exciting for Coach Meyer to tell me I was tops on their board. Florida's offense is perfect for my capabilities and I'm looking forward to seeing their campus."
The Missouri star is still not quite ready to name a top five.
"I'm trying not to really narrow it down just yet. I want to take some trips down south and see all those schools first. I'm going to try and narrow it down this summer and hopefully I'll have a decision before my season."
