Florida's 22 true freshmen football players went through orientation last week and began classes in the Summer B semester Monday.


You know it's summer when the best sporting events on television are replays of old football games (especially with the Braves in the tank).

UF Could Get Help From Utah Graduate
If he passes his final classes and receives his sociology degree later this summer from the University of Utah, cornerback Ryan Smith intends to transfer to Florida. Because of a new NCAA rule that allows graduate students to transfer and play immediately, Smith could play this season.

Sebastian's Augenstein makes USA team
Sebastian River High School graduate Bryan Augenstein, a sophomore pitcher for the Florida Gators, was named to the 22-man roster for the 2006 USA Baseball National Team announced Sunday.
