Gators Make Move with LB

[MEDIA:32874]
A rumor started this week that Earl Everett was on the verge of committing to Florida. Although it was just a rumor, Florida has made a huge move for this five star linebacker.

Internet rumors have been swirling that five star linebacker Earl Everett was on the verge of making a commitment to the Florida Gators. What did Everett have to say regarding this speculation?

"No decision has been made yet and I do not think I will have a decision soon. But I will say that Florida has made a big move with me all of a sudden. They say I can come in as a partial qualifier if I do not qualify. They will take one and they want me to be that guy. They called my coach and told him. That kind of got me excited about the Gators. I have always liked them but I didn't know if I could get in school. Right now, academics are a close call. I am doing all the extra things to get qualified."

If this is true, this is a change of policy at Florida, as they have not taken any partial qualifiers in recent years.

Everett has emerged as one of the very best prospects from Florida. He plays for Bushnell (Fla.) South Sumter High School at linebacker, strong safety, quarterback, running back, and receiver. Most schools want Everett as a linebacker but many people do not realize that he is a super running back prospect with great speed to go along with that size. Everett is a legit 6-3 and 210 pounds.

"LSU is recruiting me as a running back and everyone else likes me as a linebacker. To be honest with you, I would rather play running back. Right now, I am open between Miami, Florida, FSU, Georgia, LSU and South Florida. For now, I just want to worry about getting good grades and winning a state championship.
