"I plan to take my five official visits to those schools. I have already set three visits. I am going to Auburn for the LSU game, LSU for the Mississippi State game and Georgia for the Georgia Tech game. I am about to set my visits to Florida and Michigan. I am actually taking an unofficial visit to Florida this weekend."
Jones tells us what he likes of each of his favorites.
Auburn: "Auburn wants me to come in and play receiver. Their receivers remind me of myself because they are all big."
Florida: "I really like coach [Urban] Meyer. I like his offense. I think they will have a good chance to make a run at the national championship in a few years."
Georgia and LSU: "I like those two schools because of their defenses. They are both hard-hitting. I think I would fit in well with either one of their defenses."
Michigan: "Michigan has really good tradition. They want me as a wide receiver. They have had some really good receivers come through over the years."
Some schools are recruiting Jones for offense while others prefer him on the defensive side of the ball.
"I enjoy playing on both sides of the ball," he said. "In college I would prefer to play safety or outside linebacker."
Jones plans to take all five official visits before making his verbal pledge, and he knows the factors of his decision.
"I will base my decision on coaching and academics," he said. "I want to go where I fit in the best."
