Catch the FSU vs. UF '95 game this Saturday

Former Florida standouts, WR Reidel Anthony, WR Jacquez Green and RB Terry Jackson, joined series host James Bates in Gainesville recently to discuss one of the biggest games in Gator lore, the 1995 match-up versus the Seminoles, which resulted in a 35-24 victory and sent the Gators to the national championship game.

The Florida State @ Florida game from 11/25/95 airs Sat., Aug. 19 at 9pm on Sun Sports as part of "Gridiron Greats" series.

Anthony, Green & Jackson talk about their thoughts surrounding the game, in addition to stories from their playing days, and also recount some of their favorite memories while in school.

"I caught the game's first TD falling down in the back of the endzone and when I got up the first guy I saw was Emmitt Smith. So it was incredible to me to be in my first Florida/Florida State game and there was one of the best players of all time cheering me on." -- Jacquez Green

"We always knew when Coach Spurrier didn't know a player's name because before each game he'd go and shake every players hand and give them a pep talk like, 'Have a good game today Danny' or 'Go get 'em Ike.' But for guys he didn't know, he'd always say to them 'Alright my man.' -- Reidel Anthony

"One year Coach Zook was coaching special teams and got a brand new long snapper named Fred Hamburg, but Zook just called him 'new guy.' Fred was the nicest guy in the world, but for all four years in school he was known as 'new guy.' He hated it. You had to have tough skin in that locker room." -- Terry Jackson
