RECRUITING: UF still in top two for Miller

Four-star linebacker (ranked #25 by Scout.com) Von Miller (6-2, 211, 4.55) from DeSoto (Texas) says it's 50/50 right now between Texas A&M and Florida.

"It's a real hard decision," Miller said. "I really like A&M and Florida and it's very hard to pick. I had a deadline to commit before the season began, but I won't be able to do it. I can't decide."

The Aggies and Gators have a solid lead over Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Baylor and they've all offered except the Sooners. He has around 25 total scholarship offers.

"I love the whole atmosphere at A&M," Miller said. "The fans are amazing and they have great tradition. I just love the whole feeling. You just drive up and feel good. I have a really good relationship with the coaches and several players there already.

"They are also a team on the rise. They told me that they worked harder than ever this off-season and I think they can only improve. I really believe they'll contend for the Big 12 title."

Miller hasn't scheduled any official visits.

"Florida is a lot like A&M," Miller said. "They have really good academics and like an 80% grad rate. The Swamp is like no place else and coach Urban Meyer seems like a guy I can be around and play for for four to five years."

Miller will be attending the Oklahoma State/Montana State game this weekend (September 2). His season begins on September 8 versus Garland.
