One of the Nation's Best

Ernie Sims, Antonio Cromartie, Earl Everett and some others are unique and special talents that excel at every position they play. Add another name to that list because Michael Bush looks unbelievable on film at everything he does. And he does a lot!

Michael Bush (6-4, 225, 4.5) is an outstanding prospect. At the college level, he could any number of positions - quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, defensive end, linebacker or safety. He is that good. I really believe his college days will be spent as a receiver. He is deadly at the high school level because of his pure athleticism. Bush has super size, speed and quickness and incredible hands and concentration. In the open field he can run right by you and lower the shoulder and run right over you. Bush has great separation and acceleration. He can beat you deep, over the middle or take the short pass the distance. You can make a great case that Michael Bush is the best overall and most athletic prospect in the country.

Here is what his high school coach, Bob Redman, had to say about Mr. Bush.

"Michael is a unique player," said Redman. "He has the ability to be a marquee guy at the next level. Last season, he would have been voted in at All-State at five different positions. He has an NFL body and a great presence. We need Mike everywhere or else he would play quarterback for us. Bush's arm is as good as any."

Bush was invited to the Elite 11 camp but could not make it. He only played the quarterback position for two games. Bush threw for 348 yards in the State Championship game.
