Florida Gator Football

Running question
In his senior season, tailback DeShawn Wynn has proved for the first time in his career that he can work hard and perform at a consistently high level.

LOUISIANA STATE TIGERS Last year LSU went 11-2, including a 7-1 mark in the SEC. The Tigers won the Western Division but lost to Georgia, 34-14, in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta. The Tigers then returned to the Georgia Dome four weeks later to demolish Miami, 40-3, in the Peach Bowl.

Loss at LSU sparked change to UF's offense
It was late and it was only going to get later. The emotional low point of his first season had come only hours earlier in Baton Rouge, La., where tears were spilled by players in the locker room and their coach in the dingy interview room.

Florida's Wynn questionable, Harvin should return against LSU
Florida running back DeShawn Wynn has a sprained right knee but still might play Saturday when the fifth-ranked Gators host No. 9 LSU.

Harvin likely to return
Florida running back DeShawn Wynn is still questionable for Saturday's game against LSU with a sprained right knee, but it appears that the Gators will have receiver Percy Harvin.

Wynn Has No Damage In Sprained Knee
An MRI showed that Florida TB DeShawn Wynn has a sprained right knee, and Gators coach Urban Meyer said Monday that Wynn may play Saturday when fifth-ranked Florida faces No. 9 LSU.

Gators' Harvin set to play
After missing most of the previous two games with a left high ankle sprain, standout freshman receiver Percy Harvin will play Saturday.

UF's Wynn may be out for LSU game
Senior running back DeShawn Wynn's latest injury could turn out to be his costliest. Florida's leading rusher is questionable for Saturday's visit from LSU with a sprained knee he suffered against Alabama, coach Urban Meyer said Monday.

Not so fast, my friend
Lee Corso will have a decision to make. Will he wear the Gator head or not? Three weeks since he called Florida "soft" before the Gators won held Tennessee to minus-11 yards during a win in Knoxville, Corso will be in Gainesville this weekend with the ESPN GameDay crew for the LSU-Florida game.

Florida trip key to LSU's chances
Ever see an interstate exit that says the next one will not be for another 28 miles?

Moore could be Gators' man
With starting tailback DeShawn Wynn slowed by a sprained right knee, the spotlight will likely shine on Florida sophomore Kestahn Moore on Saturday.

Gator bait? LSU insists it's ready to strut stuff
Tiger Stadium has been rocking for LSU this season. The four games have been a smorgasbord of offensive fireworks and defensive shutdowns against lesser competition.

Expect LSU to use pass to set up run against Gators
Unless LSU coach Les Miles is playing sly fox again, look for the Tigers to pass to set up the run Saturday at No. 5 Florida.

UF shredded spread after LSU loss
After a disappointing 21-17 loss to LSU last season, UF coach Urban Meyer called the offensive coaches to his house for a late-night session.

Wynn still sore, questionable for LSU
Urban Meyer hopes starting tailback DeShawn Wynn will be able to play against LSU on Saturday.

Loss to LSU fueled changes
It was one of the most painful football losses of last season, the one that brought some players and coaches to tears, but in retrospect it may have been one of the most important things that happened to the Gators.
