With his skills and on a 6-1 and 170 pound frame, there is no wonder why big programs are still pursuing the committed cornerback. Van Dyke remains committed to Miami but will visit the Florida Gators and Ohio State Buckeyes.
Van Dyke said a few things about what he likes about each program.
Florida: "They are on a roll. They need cornerbacks. They are a great team and with great coaching. Coach Holliday has been relentless in recruiting me."
Ohio State: "I like that they are number one in the nation and have a great offense and defense."
Miami: "It's a great school. They have great academics and great coaches."
According to Van Dyke, a good visit could go a long way in opening his eyes to another program.
"I could change my mind if I really like it when I go on my visit," he said.
DeMarcus Van Dyke opened a lot of eyes this spring with his combine numbers. Since that point in time he has really turned heads on the football field as well. As he matures as a football player, college programs started to notice and now Miami has their work cut out for them to keep this big time commitment
