Coach Meyer saw his Gators escape with the narrowest of victories Saturday night. The Swamp was roaring as Jarvis Moss blocked a field goal with time running out to preserve a 17-16 win. The win keeps the Gators in the national title hunt and improves their overall record to 9-1 on the season. Meyer talked about the game and more afterwards and Gator Country was there to capture it for you.
With the Gators already having clinched the SEC East title, this game meant nothing in the conference race. However, the win followed by a few things that happenned nationally, have the Gators looking at the bigger picture if they happen to win out the regular season and the SEC Championship game.
Meyer talked about an improved offense and a defense that is banged up and had its worst game of the year Saturday night. He praised a few key performers like Chris Leak, Percy Harvin, Ray McDonald, Jarvis Moss and much more.
