33 Offers And Counting

Four star tight end Brandon Moore stands 6'6, 243lbs and has so many offers that he has lost count. In fact he is sitting on 33 offers from all across the Nation from the likes of the national champion Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, the Michigan Wolverines, Notre Dame, the Miami Hurricanes, Cincinnati Bearcats, FSU and the Iowa Hawkeyes to name a few.

Trotwood Madison HS in Trotwood, Ohio has seen Brandon develop from his freshman and sophomore season's ones in which he was used primarily as a blocking tight end to this past season where he hauled in 25 catches for 350 yards and 5 TD's. Trotwood HS runs the spread offense which allowed the 6'6 pass catching specialist to line up at wide receiver and even though Brandon says he will still play a lot of WR he knows that at the next level his future will rest at the tight end position.

Since the end of football season Brandon has concentrated on track where he throws the shot put and the disc. One of the main things he wants to improve on before his senior season is his strength numbers, where he carries a max bench press of 265, squat of 350 and a power clean of 230. While he is not sure how many summer camps he will be able to attend due to his rigorous summer track schedule Brandon has visited the likes of Michigan and Cincinnati at this time. FightinGators had a chance to ask him what he liked about each.

Cincinnati: "Cincinnati's junior day was great they are so close to home and I really like the campus and love the coaches."

Michigan: "Michigan is not too far from me about three hours I guess and on my trip I had a chance to sit down and talk to the head man Coach Carr. Coach Carr told me how much they like to use the tight end in their system and just explained to me how he would see me fitting into that system."

Brandon stated that he is open at this time but talked a little about some of his favorites, the University of Georgia where he has developed a good relationship with tight end coach Dave Johnson.

As for the Gators, Brandon was shocked that an offer was extended.

"Florida is the defending National Champion's and when they call people listen, I was surprised when the offered me. I talked to coach Mullen and he explained to me how they use the tight end in their system. Coach Meyer offered me over the phone the first week in April."

Some of the factors that will go into his decision will be first and foremost academics, coaching staff, the town atmosphere and the chance to play for the National Title.

Moore carries a 4.2 GPA and will major in engineering or pre-med.
