Scott plays quarterback in high school, but at the next level, it depends on whom you ask.
"Certain schools are recruiting me for quarterback, some for wide receiver, some for defensive back and some for running back," Scott said.
"Alabama is recruiting me as a defensive back but when they watched my practice they said no doubt about it I should be on the offensive side of the ball scoring touchdowns."
"They both told me that they want me to come down and do the same things that #8 did, Percy Harvin," Scott said. "They spread the ball out and get it to the playmakers. That's what the spread option offense does and it's the same kind that we run now in high school."
It is hard for Scott to imagine what position he will play at the next level because he is good at all of them.
"It's hard to say right now, to be honest with you I am great at all of them," Scott said. "I would like to be used like Percy Harvin; I like what he does and think I can do some of the same things. I like to play football. I am a football player."
Scott is not sure when he will be headed to Gainesville, but he plans to make a trip over the summer to see the Swamp.
With a premium on playmakers in the spread option attack, Scott would fit in perfectly. The fact that both Coach Meyer and Strong are recruiting him shows how important they feel he can be in the Orange and Blue.
