Recruiting Diary: Jeremiah Schwartz

One of the top fullbacks in the entire country is Jeremiah Schwartz. Schwartz, from Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater is a 5-10, 228-pounds wrecking ball of a running back. He has one offer at this time from Virginia but is starting to receive a lot of attention from various schools like Florida, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Northwestern and Kansas State.

May 21st through the 27th:

  • Contact with Coach Charlie Strong at UF - Looking forward to attending a camp and visiting UF again.
  • Contact with Coach Tony Gibson from West Virginia.
  • Contact with Coach Rick Petri from Kentucky.

Received information from the following schools:

  • Northwestern University
  • University of Florida
  • University of Louisville
  • University of Connecticut
  • South Carolina
  • Florida State University

Recently received a questionnaire from Purdue University (Terrell Williams), Florida A&M and West Virginia.
Jeremiah had the following to say:

"I am not where I want to be yet, and I plan on working hard to achieve the goals I have set for myself to be successful in every aspect of the game"

    My Take:
The Florida staff is definitely interested in Schwartz and it is mutual. He, for whatever reason, has gone under the radar a little bit but if the staff decides to extend him an offer I expect him to be in this class.
