    June 2:

  • 8:30 a.m. Wake-up call from Dad
  • Shower and light breakfast (Cereal)
  • On the road by 9:30 a.m. on I-Championship, destination Gainesville
  • Stopped at McDonald's for lunch at 11:15 a.m.
  • Arrived at the stadium at 12:15 p.m.

Florida was conducting their Graduation Ceremony and it was raining for most of the trip. Therefore, the traffic was terrible. We were directed to park under the stadium next to Coach Urban Meyer. The WARM greeting from Coach Heater was the start of an awesome and unbelievable visit.

  • After entering the building, we were soon greeted by Coach Mullen.
  • As soon as we stepped off the elevator, Coach Urban Meyer and Coach Charlie Strong joined the group.
  • My Father and I spent the next 45 minutes with Coach Heater in the film room looking over defensive schemes. Coach Heater plays a very aggressive style, which is the style I like. I took advantage of the moment to learn as much as I could to sharpen my GAME.

I can see myself playing on the next level.

  • Coach Charlie Strong gave us a complete tour of the facilities/campus and introduced us to the two young men that would assist me with my classes and my adjustment to college life.
  • One-on-one with Coach Meyer had a very profound impact on me. First of all, the coach made me feel very comfortable. Secondly, Coach Meyer made me feel needed. The coaching staff worked as a well-coached team. I can see why the Florida Gators are CHAMPIONS! Coach Meyer is a Player's Coach.
  • My father and I pulled away from the stadium feeling the LOVE.
